Kristin Daly grew up in Albuquerque, NM. She was in the first graduating class of La Cueva HS, and then attended NMSU in Las Cruces, NM after graduation, with an emphasis in secondary math and humanities.

From Las Cruces, I packed up my 1977 Scout and headed north to Durango, “my home away from home”. As a kid, my parents would pack myself and 3 sisters in the car and make the short drive from Albuquerque to Durango for our summer camping trips, and winter break vacations. I have skied “Purgatory” since I was 5 years old and while it has changed drastically, the charm and quaint community connection have always remained in tact, which made it an easy choice for me to begin planting my own roots. I feel very fortunate to have an opportunity to live and play, raise a family, and make a living in such a magnificent place!

After continuing education studies at Fort Lewis, I began in property management and front desk operations at Silverpick in 1991. I moved to a small real estate firm and obtained my associate license in 1993, and haven’t slowed down a bit! I’ve just recently transferred to Durango Mountain Realty and am thrilled to be a part of such a professional and enthusiastic team of brokers!

There are some terrific opportunities (for buyers and sellers alike) right now and I’m happy to be a part and have the knowledge and experience in such a unique and diverse market. My personal interests include: skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing (yes, mostly winter sports!), mountain biking, camping, and spending time with husband and 2 wonderful children. I live less than 5 miles from the ski area, am active in the local community and most recent affiliations include the ethics and professional practice committee at the local real estate association of Realtors. One of my specialties is in “resale” properties and resort acreage.
