Vegetation consists of juniper, sage, and pinyon pines with western grasses such as blue and black grama as well as some buffalo grass interspersed. Near the live water in Third Canyon, there are some willows and marsh grasses. Ag Uses The ranch is well suited as a horse property with many areas suitable to build a home as well as any needed equestrian facilities and the views are incredible. Hunting Deer hunting should be good with great potential for really nice bucks. Most of the unit is private land or part of the Southern Ute Indian Reservation.
